The “Renovation Project of Five-step Tide Resistance Secondary Gate” of the 1st River Management Office won the Golden Safety Award in 2019! Ministry of Labor holds “Five-star Award of Excellent OSH Unit in 2019 and Public Engineering Golden Safety Award Prize-giving Ceremony” in Denwell Club, Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City today (September 11). “Renovation Project of Five-step Tide Resistance Secondary Gate” sponsored by the 1st River Management Office, Water Resources Agency, MOEA, finally won the award after preliminary review and the fierce final review.
CHEN, JIAN-FONG, the Director of the 1st River Management Office attended the prize-giving ceremony together with the colleagues and expressed that through the fighting for the Safety Golden Award, the awareness of occupational safety had been deeply rooted in the mind of all staffs. They would implement the occupational safety and hygiene management, improve construction safety culture, prevent occupational hazard, and finally realize the sustainable objective of “safety first”, “zero accident” and “zero disaster” by abiding by the aim of “respecting life, cultivating a working environment with no occupational disaster; caring employees and forming employee-oriented culture” and by creating a “safe, comfortable and healthy working environment”. The 1st River Management Office would carry out all water conservancy projects on the basis of meeting project quality, and occupational safety and hygiene requirements.
